Stock mandrake 2.4.3 kernel. Applied SGI XFS (journaling filesystem)
patches. Success. Booted and verified. Applied Win4lin3.0 kernel
patch (one reject in Makefile - expected). Booted and verified.
I am using VNET, and I can login using Samba, browse the network
neighborhood, etc. The only experiment I haven't tried yet is
using SecureRemote to telecommute (still waiting for a firmware
upgrade for my gnatbox firewall).
Only one problem so far: full screen mode doesn't work. I get a
stream of these messages:
AUDIT: Thu May 31 10:07:48 2001: 2647 X: client 1 rejected from local host
Xlib: connection to ":1.0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
I'm sure this is some configuration issue on my Mandrake 8.0 system,
but I'm not sure what offhand. More later...
