I've tried applying the 2.4.4 patches to the 2.4.4-ac8 kernel with no success. There were 4 failed hunks, which I tried to do by hand, but the assembler scheduling code is significantly different, as well as the GDT table, so while it compiles cleanly, it reboots immediately after decompressing the kernel. Has anyone had any luck with an ext3 kernel? I know I can get the 2.2.19 kernel working, as I have done it before, but I would like the 2.4.4 USB support.
