Tried that :-) Doesn't seem to be the problem.

If I use a ~/win directory from my old win4lin v2 it works fine - tho I get
errors when starting windows (well, warnings about dates on some of the
modified dlls I think - like commctrl.dll and commdlg.dll...)

But I can't install the app (or copy it) to a windows installed on win4lin
v3. Well, I can install it, but it just won't run.

Perhaps someone in the know can say if there are differences in dll's between
a v2 and v3 windows install. I'm using the same copy of windows and I have no
trouble installing the program with win4lin v2 - just v3.

ie I can go to mdk 7.2 and win4lin v2 and win 95 and it installs and runs
fine. if I use mdk 8.0 and win4lin v3 and win 95 it installs but won't run.

Since I have win4lin specifically for this app it's a bit of a pain :-)
