I just finished installing Win4lin 3.0 on Mandrake 8.0. The installation was pretty flawless and so far, it's working really well. I was able to get onto my work network and download some software. However, at work, they drop some SMS stuff on any PC that logs on to the network. This generates some of it's own problems but I'm not sure it's related to this problem. When I shutdown, I sometimes get the following message: MERGE PCIFSD: ASSERT FAILED: pcipfile.cpp line 56 Press any key to continue Pressing a key makes the blue screen go away and it's replaced with a black screen which I have to kill.
