Lynn,

look very closely at the win4lin section in lilo.conf .. you should see 
2 things:
1) after image, the next 2 linese are NOT indented as the prior images are
2) the win4lin section has spaces on BOTH sides of hte '=' sign .. which 
should not be there

After you manually adjust the lilo.cong and run /sbin/lilo, you will be 
able to boot into win4lin normally (even though a uname will still show 
2.4.2-2 and no win4lin)
