You could make a backp copy of the two registry files. Since MS Windows is 
not really in control of itself, it would be a simple matter of replacing the 
files and re-starting Win4Lin or WINE.

A registry hack would might do it. Run regedit in WINE and search for the 
WINWORD key to see what might need to be changed. If it doesn't exist, uou 
could do the same in Win4Lin, export the key and import it into the WINE 
registry.
