Hi folks,

I've been successfully using Win4Lin 2.0.2 with SuSE 6.4 and 7.1
distributions with a self compiled 2.2.18 (clean 2.2.18 source +
patches from Netraverse).

Now, I've purchased a 30Gb disk and I decided to move my complete
Linux stuff to this disk and since checking a 30Gb ext2 file systems
takes a lot of time (judging from the time, it takes to check my old 5
Gb partition) I decided to move to reiserfs.

I obtained the 2.2.19 kernel source, patched with the latest reiserfs
and applied patches for Win4Lin and rebuild the kernel.

Now, I receive the following error message, when I'm invoking win:

   IMPROPER_INSTL: dos: ERROR: Improperly installed.
     Permissions or privileges are incorrect.

I'm getting the same result with the SuSE 2.2.18 kernel patched with
the corresponding Win4Lin patch.

Once I reboot the old kernel without reiserfs, everything is fine.

Has anybody else seen this or can offer some advice?

Thanx.
