What is the name of your win4lin kernel? It can't be 2.4.2-2.
What do you see with uname -rs ?
It seems that modprobe is looking for the modules in the wrong
place.
I don't know much about modprobe, decause I have never gotten the
thing to work for me, but, you might try running depmod -a and
see if the rebuilds your modules dependency file.
