Hello David,

So long as cntrl-alt-del is not trapped by your window manager/desktop
environment (both KDE and Gnome usually trap it and map it to 'logout'), the
key combination will work in Windows as you would expect. Check your Linux key
bindings to see if it is bound to anything. If so, unbind it and it should work
normally in Windows.

Alternatively, you can exit a frozen Windows session by typing shift-F12 with
the Windows window active. This will activate the blue Win4Lin menu bar. Under
the 'Window' menu, choose 'Exit' and then verify the action in the pop-up
window. This should 'nicely' exit Win4Lin.

If you have to kill Win4Lin, you should run the commands:

killall dosexec
killall auserver

to make sure that all of the Win4Lin-related processes are killed before you
start a new one.

Regards,
Amanda
