Hello everybody OK, we've allowed some time to elapse since we last commented but now, since there has been virtually no more take--up and since the level of activity in this group is a round zero, we have decided that it's time to call it quits and move on.
As you know, we currently run a number of other services which are quite well used. But this one, it seems, was a bad idea from the outset; despite the initial optimism on the part of others. Most of those optimists never bothered to subscribe. OK, that's fine, nothing ventured nothing gained. We will extend an open invitation to each and every one of you, should you wish to do so, to join our currently established general technology enthusiasm user group. This list covers every aspect of technology, computer-related and otherwise. If you wish to subscribe, you may do so in a number of ways: 1. The list's dedicated web resource can be found at: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listonly/techno-chat/> the welcome and policy document may be viewed at: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/Techno-Chat-Welcome.html> and if you wish to join by sending an email to the request server, you may do so by sending a message whose subject line should contain the word "subscribe", in lower case and without the quotes, to: <[email protected]> and then following the authentication process. Just reply to that message without modifying the message's contents and your subscription request will be forwarded to us and to our assistant list controller for approval. Once again thank you to those of you who at least gave it a try. We are sorry that it didn't work out. We will remove this group from our database in a few minutes time; so there's no need for anybody to unsubscribe. It will happen automatically. I look forward to seeing some of you on Techno-Chat.
