Hi! Yes, I'm running Window-Eyes 8.0 here and for the most part I'm happy with it.
The "Browse Mode" has improved a little though "Browse Mode" doesn't perform consistently I've found and I'll try and explain what seems to be happening. Suppose you load a page into Internet Explorer, by default there doesn't seem to be any indication when the full page is loaded. Assuming the page has loaded there doesn't seem to be any default way in which "Browse Mode" will behave, by rights the user would probably think that "Browse Mode" would be enabled but a lot of the time it isn't so you have to manually enable the function, not a great deal I know but its an annoyance to say the least. With Version 8 you can now tab through a web page and Window-Eyes will automatically disable "Browse Mode" when you encounter a form control such as an edit box, that's gone part of the way to addressing something I've always hated about WE but I still think that JAWS and NVDA have the edge over GW Micro with regard to "Browse mode". For one thing JAWS and NVDA are much faster when it comes to loading web pages and I like the idea of browsing a page with the cursor keys, as JAWS and NVDA users will know, when you come across a form control whilst browsing you can act on that control right away.
