What I'm actually thinking about now is a USB mixer. I know they exist, but
don't know a lot about them to be honest. I believe some of them have MIDI
controllers in-built as well which might work with some software. But my
primary concern is the hardware mixing. Anybody happen to know of a USB mixer
which has hardware controls rather than doing everything via software? I'll do
a Google search on that microphone, see if I can find out anything about it. Is
this a USB microphone? The Logitech 5370 isn't exactly what I would term top
of the range, and I have a couple of little gripes with it. For instance, the
annoying clicks when you cycle the unit on/off during a recording. That would
have been a very useful function if the switch were dampened or silenced. I
believe most or all Logitech desktop microphones have that problem. At least,
all those I have seen suffer from it.

Nice! The mic I want to get when I save for it is a hyle pr 300. It sound s a
lot like a mic I love but can't afford as it's like $5000. lol The hyle is
around $2-300 which is in my budget range. That paired with th eportabooth pro
and new board that I plan to get this year will help a lot in my own recordings.

There must be a better way to mute the mic like through your broadcast
software that way you can mute it out that way and then press the switch so no
one hears the click. lol!

I'm glad you got your mic solved and goo duck with broadcasting.
