Hi Lynne, I don't know what to say about these, but it sounds like they lowered the price considerably. I wonder if they still charge more for the Mac voices than they do the WIndows ones.
It has been about a year or so since I looked at these, but I didn't have the greatest experience on WIndows or Mac. I found that in some cases it could pronounce a word, and in other cases it would spell it out. I also found that the voice itself often crashed and tended to respond rather slowly. So, as you can tell, I don't hold them in high regard. Of course, things could have changed a lot, but I wasn't willing to pay for it with such bad performance. I managed to obtain a demo at the time, but now my option is to pay. I don't mind that if you're getting good results.
