Hi all For a little while now, I've been using the Pearl OCR system in conjunction with the Openbook 9 software (recently updated to be Windows 8 compatible), and I have yto say that the OCR results I'm getting are pretty astounding. On average, OCR is about 99% accurate, and that's pretty darn good. Freedom has done a terrific job of this, as well as updating the Pearl since its 2010 rte lease. Instead of using a bulky stand, it now uses an easy to transport folding stand mechanism for the camera. I'm very impressed, and on this one I congratulate Freedom Scientific for a job most excellently done. Openbook, incidentally, ships with Jaws 11 which is is perhaps not surprising.
