You're right. It's the default behavior for JAWS as well. No wonder I didn't 
remember how I did it. That was way too easy. Lol

I am not sure that this is what you mean but this is the default behaviour if 
NVDA has caps lock enabled as a modifier key and Jaws will behave this way if 
Laptop layout is used.

Hello,

Does anyone know how to make it so that you have to tap caps lock twice before 
you activate it? I have this set on my Windows 7 computer, but I don't know how 
I did it and would like to be able to tell someone else how to do it. I have it 
set this way at home, too.

I must have thought 2 years ago that the method for doing this was so good and 
and easy that I'd never forget how to do it...
