DOSMEM_MapRealToLinear vs. PTR_SEG_TO_LINEAR

Question:

Is there any function to take a Real memory address and convert it into
a segmented pointer address suitable for use with PTR_SEG_TO_LINEAR?

That would allow DOS ASPI to simply call WINASPI (win16) without a lot
of overhead.
