WINE running UNIX apps

Hi!

Is Wine able to execute UNIX executables?

I want to use a Windows frontend for the multiple console and pre-90s 
comuters emulator MESS! In SMess (the windows frontend) you can define where 
MESS.EXE is, but I want it to run /usr/games/xmess instead! The commandline 
options are identical in the UNIX and Windows version so it should work...

Is there a way to do this?
