THanks, that gets it started.
I did spend about an hour with the man page, wine.conf doc, reference
manuals and all that yesterday, but I can never seem to find things in
manuals.
I now see that --help is useful. :)
Now... it wants me to be "administrator"
"you have insufficient privileges to install XXXXX"
