The authors list only get updated whenever someone feels like it.
Alexandre occasionally updates it from the changelog, but it often takes a
few months between every time he does.
It is permitted to submit a patch updating the authors list (adding
yourself at least) if you really want to. (I did a couple of years back,
after having written plenty of DOS stuff, heh)
