It is down again (since yesterday).
This is becoming a big problem. I manage to squeeze a few minute weekly to
work on Wine, and most of the time the CVS server is down -- it kills the
little time I have between 10000 other things I must do. I am sure I am not
the only one in this situation.
Why can't we switch to SourceForge? A huge project like KDE was able to,
no problem. Why can't we? We may lose some control but we gain so much
(they to on-site/off-site backups, etc). Do we do them now?
Mind you, Wine is an important project (just like KDE), so I am sure the
SourceForge guys are willing to make special provisions for us. In the
unlikely situation where in the future we won't like SourceForge, we can
easily move. But why suffer meanwhile? What do we stand to gain?
