The loader looks for things in the order specified in DllOverrides and
DefaultLoadOrder in .winerc. Many of the wine builtins are now of the
form "lib<windose name>.so", so if you have builtin first it looks there
before going on to look other places. It is wrong of the loader to spew
an err: when it doesn't find a module or library the first place it
looks for it, but it will go on to the next LoadOrder. I trust this
will be fixed soon.

What it is really looking for is a wine builtin of mso7enu.[dll|exe].
If you have one of those in the path, and native somewhere in the
LoadOrder, it will find it eventually. This is an err: that should
maybe be a trace: or so.

give it xl8c.dll.

This mail client runs on Wine. Your mileage may vary.
