Yes, but how is this treatet for international versions of Windows? I
know that Office 95 installer used the wrong codepage in the names in
the Danish version (resulting in that word/excel couldn't find its own
files). For example, the Danish version of windows uses
"C:\Programmer\Fælles filer".
There are a lot of versions and a lot of references in the registry that
are dependent on the language. A lot of programs use hard-coded
directories and are difficult to use on international versions (i.e.
other than the original country version, which does not need to be
English).
Any comments?
