Hi guys, first off, thanks so much for all your work on WINE. It's starting to rock! (i got Serious Sam Test and almost all Glide programs (Quake2, HalfLife!!) , as well as a couple Quake2 editors to work!!!) The problem now: I have had X4.0.1 (from xfree86.org) working with my Voodoo5 and Wine, while using my Voodoo2 as the 3D card (Glide+Mesa). When I setup the DRI stuff for the voodoo5 (from linux.3dfx.com, basically the modules went in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules, such as GLcore and libGL.so in /usr/X11R6/lib) I finally got 3D working on the Voodoo5. I switched glide and libGL so it works w/ Voodoo5, not V2 anymore. But now all of a sudden wine will not run even notepad. It gives this error: Could not load graphics driver 'x11drv' WOW!! I just figured out what causes this!!!!! Letme keep on writing: I have two glides, one for Voodoo2 and one for Voodoo5 /usr/local/glide2.53-3 /usr/local/glideV5 and I always make a link to the one I plan to use, run ldconfig to pickup the libs and I am set. Now, when I have the link on the Voodoo2 glide Wine runs!!! When I have the link on the Voodoo5 glide it gives the above error. So my question: What does glide have to do with "x11drv"? Is it because the Voodoo5 has an x11 driver that sits ontop of glide? (i really doubt that for the 2D component, and I know the 3d component *has* to go thru Mesa, because V5 uses only glide3x and it cannot be used as a standalone lib (as far as I have read)) Any hints would be appreciated.. because I rather try to get my Voodoo5 to work w/ Win 3d apps if I can .. Thanks
