You are right. Seems to be another problem: Redrawing only has slowed
down. Example: I open a new message create window. When I type the
ssubject, The cursur moves, the title bar and the Menu redraw on every
letter I type but no input is to be seen before a while.
When typing the message and erasing text, the cursor is slow (I delete
more than I wanted to do.
Sound: There was an old problem solved months ago, that sound with 16
Bit was stuttering. When new messages have arrived, there is a simple
"ding" to announce the arrived messages. Now it is a "ding ding ding"
again.
Maybe both things are caused by the same problem.
... I just installed the new version compiled tonight.
A part of the problem has gone. Remainig:
When erasing the subject with backspace, the cursor is moving faster
than the text is erased.
In the message text window, there is no problem any longer at all.
The stuttering of sound has gone, too.
