I have attained the Holy Grail of all wine uses! I have managed to get Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 (16bit) run under wine on linux with no problems!!!! Java does not work but that is not inportant!!! http://www.winehq.com/Apps/details.cgi?id=2861 Installed win3.11 on crappy pc Installed IE5 16 bit on win311 copied IE and windows dirs to linux part. Set my C: in my /etc/wine.conf to /win311 (where i copied the win311 dir) run iexplorer.exe with this command line: wine -winver win31 --dll shell,shell32,commdlg,comdlg32=n iexplore.exe
