Hi, I emailed this list a long time ago requesting that QT4 be one of the
important apps to get working for 1.0 because it is the only application
that can run Sorenson compressed video on a Unix box (ok, barring Mac OS
X).

Happily, I can now attest that it is starting to work. Although I have had
no success with other movies, the Sample.mov included with QT4 appears to
work.

Setup:
Debian unstable (updated today)
Wine cvs Version: 1:0.20010111.033958 (in my /etc/apt/sources.list from
http://gluck.debian.org/~andreas/debian)
wine standard dlls only. NO windows installation.

Works with --managed and without. I could only get it to work consistently
if I set my Preferences to open a new player for each movie. I hypothesize
this is due to wine apps not being able to be resized correctly, but I'm
not sure. I just used the standard installer from apple.com and did not
bother to install the special fonts that come with it.

Thanks for the good work. If you need a bug report or something, point me
in the right direction... but I will note that QT4 is a 'free beer'
download so anyone can get it and test.
