The best source I know for information on leap seconds is http://tycho.usno.navy.mil/leapsec.html That includes a link to the list of when the leap seconds have been. I was also looking at "time" over the past couple of days, from the "GetDateFormat" side of things (files/dos_fs.c). I note that (Win98) SystemTimeToFileTime etc do not include any leap seconds (i.e. file time assumes no leap seconds). Bill
