Is there any movement to combine Wine and X to create a free standing operating system? That would be awesome. Maybe combining it with FreeDos to make it bootable with basic cygwin features??? Just a question.
Yes, sort of, but not with X as the basis for graphics, but with direct support for Windows graphics drivers.
