I just revisited http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1268 and found that things are improved, but not fully working; there is corruption to the left of column 1 in the demo app.
I have not yet rechecked http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1404 to see how well that demo app is doing. - Dan
