http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61219 complains that IFI_Loader doesn't work at all in Wine. I haven't tried doing serial I/O with it, but it installs and starts fine. If somebody who's into serial I/O could give it a spin, it might turn up some problems. (Or maybe they were just using an old version of wine, who knows.)
