For the configure part you could use CROSSCC=amd64-mingw32msvc-gcc to help on debian/ubuntu but I'm stuck with the same problem, it can't find libgcc, although it is installed in /usr/lib/gcc/amd64-mingw32msvc/4.4.4/ by gcc-mingw32 package. I remember seeing documentation on how to build crosstests on the wiki but it seems to have disappeared from it (with a circular reference now between ConformanceTests and MakeTestFailures pages). -- Nicolas Le Cam
