I missed this in yesterday's Washington Post; thanks for sending the link.  
Lonn Taylor made an outsized impression on me (and probably my class-mates) 
even though he was only 33 at the time.  He was an imposing presence (though 
always smiling)  and I was actually surprised to read that he was only 79 at 
his death.  What an interesting career he had.
