In 1970, he tossed a stone into a pool and from that first splash, circle after circle of play, hard work and personal growth has radiated out across 53 years. Somehow Doc figured out the alchemy of transformative experience, setting the stage for every class of Shakespeare at Winedale and every session of Camp Shakespeare, the culmination of his life’s work.
