Thanks for kicking it off Dims. Here goes my info... For those that don't already know me, I'm Nick and work with Dims and some of the others at IBM.
I started out in Austin working for a few different startups doing Java server runtimes and content management systems back in 99 or so. It wasn't until '05 (or maybe '06 I think) that I got started in Apache with the Axis2 project. I focused mostly on the JAX-WS runtime and helped out where I could with the core runtime and QoS work. I've been working on distributed system in some form since '01 (corba, web services, REST, etc.). In addition to this I do some amount of JCP work on behalf of IBM. Looking forward to working with this group... Started with Computer Associates while in Cocoon doing xsl transforms on the fly to fit portal content to wireless markup languages. Then got sucked into Web services. Spent time on various spec committees a bit as well. Now i am with IBM working on the web services integration in websphere and other related assignments. In between, was briefly involved with a startup as well. Best way to reach me is via email, but am most of other IM systems as well. Do say hi to me (davanum/gmail, dims/yahoo, davanum/MSN, dims/FreeNode-IRC), hope to get to know you all better. thanks, dims -- Davanum Srinivas :: http://davanum.wordpress.com
