Bryant Luk resolved WINK-157.
-----------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix
      Assignee: Bryant Luk

Hi Matthias,

Apache Wink is already deployed to http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/ now which I
believe is the default central maven repository (with the appropriate
-incubating name in the release). At this time, I don't see any advantage in
deploying to the incubator repo since it's an added step in Maven to add the
repository to the pom.xmls.

While there was some debate on the gene...@incubator lists (before Apache
Wink's time) whether or not incubator projects should deploy to the central
Maven repository, the current policy is that it's allowed (
http://incubator.apache.org/incubation/Incubation_Policy.html and
http://www.nabble.com/Incubator-maven-artifacts-on-maven-central-tt24725055.html#a24729623
). I believe Martin researched this issue quite thoroughly.

If you see an issue that I don't, please drop a note to wink-dev or re-open
this issue. Thanks.
