[Winona Online Democracy]

Hello All,

I'm forwarding an annoucment and press release from the Winona Area Peacemakers.

If you are interested in learning about the other important sides of the
Iraq crisis and you realize that Fox and CNN are not presenting you with
diverse views, this forum is for you.

Please consider spreading the word about the event and coming if you can.

Thank you,

The Winona Area Peacemakers are sponsoring an educational forum on the Iraq
crisis. It will take place:

Wednesday, February 5th

7:00-9:00 pm

Recital Hall in the Performance Arts Building on the Winona State
University campus.

The presenters will be speaking about their concerns of a possible war with
Iraq and why they view a pre-emptive strike against Iraq as ineffective and
immoral.

Mike Miles, a member of Voices in the Wilderness, will share a video
presentation about his trips to Iraq. Other speakers include;

Bill Crozier, a Korean War Veteran, University Archivist and former History
Professor at St. Mary's University.

Tom Parlin, Director of the Catholic Newman Center in Winona.

Come with your questions as we will set aside ample time for a
question/answer period.
