Here's a simple suggestion that would make WOD more user-friendly from my
point of view, as a subscriber who gets a "digest" (single combined)
version of the daily postings, as opposed to single messages:
When you reply by hitting a reply button, most users send along copies of
previous postings that are automatically copied below their new text by
their email programs. Occasionally these previous message threads are
pertinent. Usually they are not, and often they go on almost endlessly.
Single posting subscribers can simply stop reading and close out the
window, but I have to scroll through, sometimes for minutes at a time, to
get to the next message.
Couldn't the administrators edit those previous messages out? Or could
subscribers take a second to chop them off unless they're pertinent to
their post? Thanks!
By the way, no, I don't want to switch to receiving single messages,
because my slow old email program has a hard enough time keeping up with
the numbers of incoming mail as it is.
