[Winona Online Democracy] The Governor has created a Citizens Task Force to examine the health care challenges we face. Winona Online Democracy has been discussing health care issues in some depth lately.
We believe there is a need and desire to bring the wider Winona community into these discussions on health care. Health care is one of the top three issues in the next federal and state elections. It appears to be an important topic to many people. Is there common ground that we, as a community, can find after sifting through the issues? Paul Double and Dwayne Voegeli would like to invite others to help us put together some kind of community forum(s) on health care. It's hoped that creative minds can reach out of the box for new ideas, consensus or conclusions. If you would be willing to volunteer to help us set up the forums, please join us at 4:00 pm on Friday, December 5th at the Acoustic Cafe.
