RE: [Winona] United Way and Equal Protection

I am as staunch an advocate of equal treatment for GLBT people as you get and I support the United Way out of my paycheck every month (in Minneapolis, alas, not in Winona).  Even with concerns about the Scouts - which I'm satisfied Bob has addressed well - United Way is the best way to contribute to many worthy programs.  I would urge people to give generously.   - Phil Carlson, Mpls
