The questions raised by Dwayne Voegeli about the
needed extra capacity needed for incarceration and the excellent article by
Dennis Challeen plus relevant comments by Orval Lund, make it clear little more
needs to be said. It is apparent we understand the problems associated with it
and need to bring up to date an antiquated, unworkable system that is very
unfair and discriminatory, costs far too much and is not working. Let's let our
lawmakers and our other public officials know that we want to see some
changes.
