[Winona Online Democracy]

To the best of my knowledge, 861 got $10,000 in earnest money from WSU today
with an agreement to be ratified by the school board on, like, March 4

As to the WSU deal, the board does have some coverage here...they opened it
to bids and WSU was the highest...things changed later, but I'd be glad to
see WSU get the land...it's a better community value, even if we lose a
hundred thousand up front.
