I hope my comments earlier this week on the drawings for the Thompson riverboat museum were not taken too severely by those involved - at the time I had no idea who was involved in preparing the design and the drawings. My apologies for rudely pointing out the shortcomings. I hope it is taken as helpful criticism from an outside set of eyes to make the project more attractive to the public. - Phil Carlson, Mpls The drawings are obviously preliminary and just to convey the concept. The project will be a major reworking of one end of Levee Park and doing the details right will require much architectural expertise. At that point we should demand to see more realistic illustrations and models. Since it appears that the 300 foot long boat will be placed above the high flood water level, we shouldn't just assume that it will turn out for the best. J.
