[Winona Online Democracy]
I just want to set the record straight regarding John Finn's response
and comment to my post -
"As for locating the CVB office in the Winona Island Cafe building,

think Amy Engrav has greatly enhanced the Levee Park as a Winona
riverfront
tourist attraction. It would be a shame to lose her."
I definitely feel Amy is doing a very good job of promoting our city
and has a great little ice cream and goody shop (I frequent it and
take out of town persons to her place) and in no way do I
even insinuate to take her from her location. She has spent many
years building her business etc. and does an excellent job.
My question and comment read -
"I wondered if there would be enough space in Amy's Winona
Island Cafe building to house some offices for the
CVB?" etc.
Isn't there added room in that building that is not being occupied
by Amy's cafe or could the building be added onto at little
expense
for just a couple offices for the CVB? I know the Plaza Building
would
certainly have remodeling costs involved.
