I agree with you 100%. Today we do not have democracy or political discourse. We have mongo ad commercial campaigns, slick spin masters, and simplisitc sound bites. Who has the most commercials, most billboards (that say nothing on them but a name), and the biggest yard signs does not public discourse make.
