I urge any residents of Wilson who possibly can to attend the meeting tonight about your annexation issue.
In my opinion this has already gone farther than it ever should have. At the very least shouldn't the residents be given the option of voting yes or no to being annexed? Who the heck wants to be part of the city and have their property taxes go up?
My township sits right next to Wilson township. Will I have to worry and wonder about possibly being annexed 'under the table' too one day?
I have no doubt that if certain Wilson township officials and residents had not spoken out against this annexation it would already be a done deal.
Citizens must continue to speak out against this annexation. It is wrong and why is name of the Prince who really bought the Phillips land never mentioned by city officials?
Does most of this annexation seem 'fishy' to anyone but me? I doubt it.
