Winona Reads Presents Mark Twain Tonight!
Winona Reads! A Community Book Project will present a special showing of Hal Holbrook's award-winning portrayal of Mark Twain in Mark Twain Tonight! on Sunday, January 30, 2:00 p.m. at the Winona Middle School Auditorium. This classic began as a Broadway show in he 1960s and was first broadcast on TV in 1967. Holbrook brings Twain to life in 90 minutes of entertaining monologue, and he will bring a smile to your face as you watch! This event is free and open to the public.
Winona Reads! is sponsored by the Friends of the Winona Public Library, the American Association of University Women, the Winona Public Library, Winona Area Public Schools Community Education, and the Winona Daily News.
