Hello Everyone ~
I am helping to organize Bowl for Kids Sake for Big
Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Winona. It's easy for
me to make appeals for this organization because I
truly believe in what we're doing. Volunteer "Bigs"
frequently describe their experience as the most
worthwhile thing they've done in Winona - Kids have
new doors opened to them and a great new friend in
life.
To reach our goal of $50,000 for the fundraiser, we'll
need 75 teams of five to bowl. At the moment there
are 40 teams registered. If you can 'spare' a couple
hours on April 9th or 10th, please consider putting a
team together.
Teams register for a time to bowl then raise pledges
by asking friends, family, and co-workers. The
minimum goal for each bowler is $100.00 in pledges.
In exchange, teams get two games of bowling, pizza and
pop, chances at some great prizes, cool t-shirts, and
the satisfaction of helping kids in Winona County.
It's not a competitive bowling tournament - your score
does not matter!
To get involved, just call BBBS at 452.2227, email me
directly, or stop by any Wells Fargo branch for bowler
packets.
