Prior to news of the Hawaii trip, I was thinking that during the next
Victorian Days celebration we should commission a chain saw sculptor to
carve the tree stumps on the courthouse lawn into likeness' of the county
commissioners. Now I'm not so sure. Maybe district court judges instead.

Upper management in corporations, and public office holders also, I suppose,
calculate their on-the-job hours differently than us peons who punch in and
out.
For instance, when showering or shaving, if they ponder an upcoming meeting,
that counts. Golfing with cronies does too. And time spent waiting around at
an estate sale or auction could be considered investigating constituent's
housing conditions.
