[Winona Online Democracy]
If I understand the daily news article correctly
this morning it has been decided to spend more money than the district has to
put offices in the high school.(?)
And if the district has any hopes whatsoever of
passing any type of referendum this fall I don't see it happening.
Given a chance to save 200,000.+ $ on the office
space, after already losing 300,000+$ on the sale of Lincoln just doesn't make
sense. Am I to assume that the new offices need new desks, chairs,
tables, etc? If just once, the taxpayers could see the district live
within it's means perhaps referendums would pass. At this point I have no
intention of voting in favor of a referendum. I see too much waste
once again.
