You can receive 90.3 in most parts of Winona.
That is Wisconsin Public Radio. That is what I've been doing. Even though
you miss the Minnesota state news, WPR has some great programs that MPR
doesn't have.

MPR sent out a notice a few days ago advising that they will be
broadcasting news and info at 101.9 (the local music station frequency)
and music at 107.3 (the news frequency) for a couple of weeks while they
do some work on the local transmitters. Why this is necessary, I haven't
a clue.
When the work is done, things are supposed to go back to they way they
were.

Does anyone know why MPR's 107.3 is today broadcasting their classical

station? Please tell be this isn't permanent! It was static for a few
days
(which I'm used to), so I tuned out for a few days. I had heard MPR was
going to be upgrading the translator so that interference didn't happen.
I
don't believe Winona can receive any other MPR station, so I am
concerned,
as I get over half my news from them.
